Foxton Fuels’ Atom Reps Start Season with Double Victory!
Wingham's Foxton Fuels’ Atom Rep minor hockey team began their season with a 4-2 win over Elma Logan on Oct. 23 and an 11-0 win over Lucknow on Oct. 30. The team enjoyed balanced scoring, rock solid defence and timely saves in both games. The game against Elma Logan saw the team heading into the final 10 minutes of play with a solid 4 goal lead that withstood a late scoring surge by Elma Logan. Two goals were scored by Brenden Gallaher, one goal each by defenceman Thomas Gangl and forward Connor Dickson. Assists went to Gangl, Gallaher (2), Hayden Robinson, Broderick Smith and Nigel Fitch.
